Almond
Flower – Oshiwara
Almond Flower a North- Indian cuisine restaurant
situated in Oshiwara is a small but worth visiting restaurant. The restaurant
is located on the way to Lokhandwala, just before the main circle of
Lokhandwala. You need to keep an eye to locate this restaurant as it being a
small restaurant you might tend to miss it.
Food
– The restaurant serves North Indian food. The paneer here is a must have as it
was very soft and amazing. In general the food is mouth watering here. We had
ordered a tomato soup, which was made of pure tomatoes unlike other restaurants
which adds water and artificial color and soups. For starters we had Achari
Paneer Tikks which was one of the recommended plates here and was worth it. Our
main course included Paneer Lababdar and Green Hariyali, both were served in a
pan and were tasting delicious. The restaurant also offers a large variety of
Parathas and Rotis. We had ordered a plain roti, laccha paratha, cheese garlic
nan, ajwain nan and garlic nan. To drink we had ordered fresh lime soda too. All
of them were served hot and were nice to eat.
Price-
The restaurant is reasonably priced and serves good quantity of food. The above
ordered items were enough for four adults. The total cost of our Sunday dinner
was Rs 1500 and yes if you are burp card owner then you avail a 10 % discount
here.
Ambience
– If you visit this restaurant do not expect world class ambience here. The restaurant
is small with about four tables with a sitting of 6 people in AC and few tables
on roof top. The restaurant is clean and well maintained with a decent
ambience. It is a place where you can go with your family and friends to spend
some time. As this restaurant is not so famous yet, you will get it empty most
of the time.
Service
– The service here is good. As there were few customers, the service by the
staff was good. The staff people were friendly and co-operative.
Almond Flower is a small but a nice restaurant to
visit. It is a recommend place for foodies.
