Food Street – Hyderabad

This is not a specific restaurant but a food street made on a promenade in Hyderabad. It is near the famous Hussain Sagar lake. The entry of the same is from Necklace road.

Food – You get lot of varieties here. There are many counters from you can order your food. It is a complete self service thing here. You have options like Pizzas from Pizza Hut, south Indian food, biryani, sandwhiches and juices and many other things as well. There is also a restaurant here which has a terrace and serves north Indian cuisine.

Price – The prices of the food items here are reasonable. A three layered grilled sandwhich costs about Rs 70, chole bhature comes at an approximate cost of Rs 80. You also have options for deserts like there are counters for Ice gola, Kulfi and ice cream.

Service – This is a complete self service area. However, the service of the staff members at the counters is good. They call you once your food is ready.

Ambience – This one is in an open area and there are many tables and chairs near the lake side. The cool breeze and atmosphere in the evenings makes this place ideal for dating couples. This promenade also has a small play area for kids. There are mini trains and mini rides which kids can enjoy. This place stays open till 10.30 PM.

I would recommend this place. However, it should be visited in the evenings so you can avoid the sun as well as enjoy the breeze.
